Mark H. Candioto

Founding Partner

Mark Candioto’s practice includes family law matters, criminal defense (non-capital felony and misdemeanor), and general/civil litigation—including plaintiff personal injury cases. His broad practice scope provides guidance in diverse, and sometimes complicated legal issues frequently facing the family unit from one trusted, confidential counselor.

Family Law

Mark handles cases involving dissolution of marriage, legal separation, spousal maintenance, paternity, child custody, child support, grandparent rights, and complex asset division. Mark has experience navigating complicated issues, including jurisdiction (multi-state and international), pre-marital agreements, post-marital agreements, separate property, community property, quasi-community property, asset valuation, child custody (legal and physical), parenting time schedules, and child relocation. He has obtained excellent results representing clients through motion practice, depositions, hearings, settlement negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial. In so doing, he excels at coordinating and preparing clients, expert witnesses (including bookkeepers, accountants, real estate appraisers, business valuation experts, custody experts, and vocational evaluators), and lay witnesses, for purposes of assembling, organizing and presenting relevant information and testimony in court or settlement talks.

Criminal Defense

Mark’s criminal defense clients consistently obtain excellent results in state, federal, and municipal court on charges including, but not limited to, DUI, DUI drug, aggravated DUI, drug possession/use/sale, domestic violence, assault, vehicular crimes, child abuse/neglect, photo radar, and various white collar crimes. Adept at trial to both the bench and to a jury, Mark utilizes a team of professional investigators, forensic crime scene reconstruction specialists, forensic alcohol and science technology criminalists, paralegals and other professional legal staff to assist him in developing constructing a vigorous defense. Many clients reach favorable results prior to trial through vigorous plea negotiations with the prosecution.

Civil Litigation

Mark has extensive experience in managing and performing all aspects of litigation from initial investigation through discovery to trial. He began his career at one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the country, where he worked for and earned a place among some of Arizona’s top litigation attorneys.
