Mark H. Candioto.

Mark H. Candioto Mark focuses his practice only on family law matters of every kind. In the past, Mark also defended clients in family-related criminal matters.  That experience provides real-world knowledge of the criminal court system that many family law practitioners lack.

Mark’s represents clients in all family law matters, including but not limited to, dissolution of marriage, paternity, legal separation, annulment, Post-Decree/Judgment modification and enforcement, and protective orders. Mark handles high-conflict cases with complicated issues like alcoholism and substance abuse, mental health/illness, narcissism/psychological disorders, custody evaluations, and complex financial asset valuation and apportionment.  Mark is particularly interested in cases with difficult co-parenting disputes.  He finds creative solutions to resolve conflict that protects children so frequently caught in the middle of their parent’s divorce. Mark’s strategy and application of facts to the law results in persuasive positions that carry the day in settlement negotiations. In those rare situations where a case doesn’t settle, clients are relieved to have Mark on their side at trial.  He is at home in the courtroom and regularly delivers successful outcomes for his clients.

Mark attended law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal.  His undergraduate studies in History and Religious Studies were also at ASU.

Mark is a family-oriented person with six children. He has a passion for cooking and puzzles.  When he isn’t trying some new and tasty recipe for family and friends, he is active with Scottsdale Leadership, Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church and Preschool, and Child Crisis Arizona.
