Christana (“Chris”) Eckert joined the Parker Schwartz bankruptcy practice in 2016. Chris began a second career in the legal field more than 13 years ago. She worked diligently over the years increasing her knowledge in various areas of law practice and eventually returned to school. She received her certificate in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College and her Certified Paralegal status from NALA in 2015, and her Advanced Paralegal Certification in Commercial Bankruptcy in 2017.
In addition to working in all areas of Bankruptcy Insolvency and Creditors’ Rights, she has experience in the areas of Litigation, Business and Corporate, and Estate Planning. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Chris brings knowledge and compassion to clients who find themselves in financial difficulties. She says that she enjoys working in Bankruptcy Law because its fundamental goal is to give debtors a financial “fresh start” from overwhelming debt. “It’s an area of law where you really feel like you’re making a difference.”
